Pros

- Work with smart people - Brand name on your resume - Compensation at market rate when you start

Cons

- Systemic lack of accountability, ownership, and career growth across the different businesses unless you are at VP, GM, or above - Furloughs, pay cuts, re-orgs, and title changes are infamously part of Honeywell's "MOS" year after year - Approx 30% voluntary attrition within 2 years and 15-20% within 1 year across multiple functions (especially product management, sales, marketing, customer experience...engineers and production tend to be RIF/RIM instead of leaving voluntarily) - Outside of a high-level onboarding at HQ, you and your team will likely not receive training, education, or tools as your budget keeps getting cut - Annual raises above 3% for even the most stellar employee, totally unheard of. Average raise without a job promotion is 1-2%. The 8 core behaviors are subjective performance metrics and the vehicle that Honeywell uses to downgrade your annual bonus because each department does not get a decent budget for bonus or merit. - Run down offices. Free coffee not provided. - Many more, which layoff.com does a good job recording while also providing endless entertainment

Pros

Helpful co-workers when questions arise. Managers guidance is very insightful with knowing which routes to take when simple procedures have different paths to getting them done.

Cons

There is not a lot of streamlined paths to doing things. Some things may need to be done differently, but there may not be instructions on how to do those things. Which I have to reach out to co-workers for help.
