Honor Response
4yWe’re sorry to read about your experience. Striking work/life balance is a constant challenge, for individuals and companies, alike. And the truth is, there will be occasions when we’re putting in extra hours to meet an important deadline or cover a staffing shortage. But it shouldn’t always be like that. To that end, we’ve been hiring more people and implementing managerial training to help leaders lead in a way that better integrates their teams’ personal time. We have also always offered paid time off to all of our employees. We can’t expect our employees to give us their best if they don’t have the time they need to rest and recharge. So getting the work/life balance right is important to us as a company and to our fellow employees. Additionally, no matter where we are in our career, appreciation is important to all of us. At Honor, we see how much of themselves our employees put into their work. And the quality of that work humbles us. We make it a point to show our appreciation in a number of ways. For example, we have a Shoutouts channel on Slack so leaders and coworkers can publicly share kudos to each other with the entire company. We’ve also provided appreciation bonuses for our field ops team in recognition of their COVID response. And we offer competitive salaries and equity in the company to all of our employees. We wish you all the best and all the appreciation you deserve in your future work.
