Pros
Great place to learn about the industry. You will need to be a self starter because the company will quickly throw you into projects and the training is... so so. There are some truly fantastic line managers but they also have projects so it is a balance deciding how often to go to them for input.
Cons
Very little to no professional development. Quintiles has a "burn out" mentality: work your people until they leave and get every drop of effort out of them. From what I have learned the Q used to try and cultivate people but since they have gone public it seems much more about the bottom line.
