Pros

The Compensation was fair when you look at OTE, Company Car (insurance, fuel, maintenance) all included. Health benefits were decent (company paid 80%) and they are growing like wildfire so opportunities to move up, or laterally are there. with 14 locations in CA, there is bound to be an office nearby. Management is quite experienced with sales, and everyone in the company unless they are in customer support is a sales person. That means from the top down, everyone is expected to sell.

Cons

Selling takes a priority above everything else, including current customers from time to time. Management can tend to micro manage the lower level account managers which can waste lots of precious selling time. Customer service (from the account managers and specialists) is looked at almost as overhead, which then translates to "how can we provide the best support for the least amount of money." That business model rarely works. Low base salaries mean that most of your OTE comes from commission which means more taxes. Almost no real culture within the company unless you are in the San Bernardino office.

Working in a sales organization requires our reps to sell Xerox products. A pilot program of Customer Care Executives will be introduced later this month, with this position focused partnering with Account Executives and current customers to assist with any customer support issues. As to the tax comment, it is highly advisable to have a professional review your withholdings, based on your personal circumstances and income. Our new payroll structure is bi-weekly pay and a separate once a month commission payment. The San Bernardino Branch office is, in addition to a sales office (like our other 15 locations), houses accounting, administration, service and the corporate office.
