Pros

Option to work from home

Cons

Aggressive micro-management due to insecure managers. Only 30 mins break and a 10 min break for the whole day. I've had an hour lunch for less stressful and demanding jobs. This shows how much they value their staff's mental health and should be a red flag. Poor Knowledge management - Their knowledge base is disorganised and filled with incorrect data. Senior staff will often give you wrong advice and you may get in trouble for following their procedures due to poor knowledge transparency and recording of knowledge flow. Some of the senior staff are rude and you have to speak to these people whenever you need help! The clients the company takes on are crooks or extremely struggling companies who don't have stock to fulfil orders so most of the day is spent lying to OAPs and cancer patients waiting on their orders. High staff turnover due to the above.

Pros

Management don’t really know what’s going on so you can practically do what you want on calls as you train yourself anyway

Cons

Paid BELOW minimum wage. “Commision” to build your wage up to minimum wage is hillarious business strategy and it’s easy to see why staff are so eager to earn said “commission” to reach minimum wage. The only people who stay there are scared to get another job. Once you’re out of there you will never be treated this way again. Timed to have a wee. Told when you can wee or not if there’s a call waiting you will be scowled at or shouted at across the office by a bloke who sits on his backside for a few hours a day then sneaks off home.

Pros

They will hire literally anyone HR are competent

Cons

They can't afford to pay minimum wage + commissions so you have to earn a lot of commission just to get paid minimum wage. Short sighted management concerned only with their right to work from home. No actual real training given you basically train yourself. It takes forever to log in to the timeclock and IT's resolution is tell you to get to work 15 minutes early (unpaid) to log in on time No room for advancement School-like atmosphere Commute is terrible and expensive
