Pros

They do pay mileage at .37 cents per mile round trip when traveling to and from assignments.

Cons

They often ask you to travel 2+ hours one way but do not pay you for the travel time. The mileage reimbursement does not cover the rising cost of gas plus wear and tear on your vehicle.

Pros

Managers have been excellent, staffers are prompt and friendly, and educators are helpful and available. Work schedule is very flexible and is determined between you and your patients. I feel fully supported in this independent field role. They make sure you're educated on the treatment and fully prepared before seeing a patient. Patients have been wonderful and the hourly pay rate is fair.

Cons

You cannot expect to work a certain number of hours per week or per month in this role but can build up regular patients over time. No hands-on training is provided (must be proficient in IV and port access skills). Mileage reimbursement could be better (currently $0.50/mi for a roundtrip of at least 30 miles).

Pros

Remote position. Good insurance. One of the owners, Rebecca is extremely humbled, caring, and helpful.

Cons

Staffing coordinators are micro-managed by owners daughter-in-law and a bunch of 20-25 year olds that do whatever they want. Too many family members and besties intertwined within one company. They expect the impossible from employees and then pay minimum wage. It’s remote but they are not willing to work with you on time much- fixated on that 9am-5pm. Phones are tracked, computers screened, and if you have any mistakes- you are expected to send apology emails to higher ups. No bonuses, no holiday pay, some weekends worked without enough compensation, lack of adequate training up front, and no matter what they tell you… when they are ready for you to go-you’re gone. Been waiting on them to complete my unemployment papers for 8 months now. Very unorganized, have horrible turn around time, and not willing to pay the ones that are working overtime and doing a great job enough money to keep them. Extremely detail oriented job that is micro-managed to an unhealthy degree. Lots of gossip too between all the young girls and most are personal friends of director or have family ties.
