They'll say I'm a disgruntled ex-employee (just like they told me the bad reviews were from) - Designer Insivia Employee Review

Pros

Always something new to create, good coworkers (just don't get too attached, quick turnover), and fun work culture.

Cons

If you work a role that I had you will be swamped day in, day out, with no help. When you bring this up you will be ignored, and told that you are not the only one doing this job, that there are several people capable of doing it - but you'll be doing it alone. Feedback is nonexistent, at least constructive feedback isn't. Instead of being given the feedback I would be ghosted, and find out that the CEO "didn't like it", and redid it himself. The CEO is way too involved and throws himself into projects late into the process which pushes the process back. In the time I spent on the team, no one was fired but quit or was let go of, and immediately cut off from the team within minutes. They keep the staffing under 50 people so they do not have to keep up with severance laws.

Pros

They do things the right way, buy in, contribute and push yourself. You will be rewarded if you do, you will be held accountable if you don't. Great opportunity if you get the chance.

Cons

It is 100% remote, there are a lot of meetings (maybe less now) to help stay on track. Could be difficult to catch your stride if you're not 100% committed to the job and your profession. If you're good and you work hard you'll do well -- if not, your tenure will be short.

Pros

Insivia is led by a team of folks who are über passionate about what they do. They live and breath a culture of innovation, growth, and inclusion. I learned so much during my time there and while the industry wasn’t for me, I am so glad for the time I spent at Insivia. In addition to the valuable marketing, branding, and consulting skills I sharpened, I also learned a lot about project management and client management. Given Insivia’s size, there were tons of opportunity for me to get involved in the growth and development of the business on a level that is usually off-limits to anyone under the C suite in a larger org. Andy and the team will give you the room to grow yourself as large as you want, as long as you put in the effort.

Cons

Agency life is NOT for everyone—it was definitely not for me. It’s fast-paced, stressful, and demanding. It requires you to manage very challenging and stubborn clientele. But, if that kind of challenge is your thing, there is unlimited possibilities at Insivia.
