The fast decline started a couple of years ago when British investors took over. Today it is a Norwegian company only on paper. The culture and spirit has been completely wiped out. Today it is only money and profit oriented. The friendly, direct atmosphere transformed into an informal, rigid, cold nothing where employees are referred to as head counts or assets.
Meritocracy has been abolished. Many of the best and experienced European engineers have been ruthlessly fired (or made to resign by giving them tasks they don't like) and replaced by high number of employees from India. The selection process of the Indian workforce is questionable at least. Quality seems not be important anymore. People come and go now, like on a market, employees always change, there is no stability. The relation chains have been broken. As a result productivity and shipping has dropped massively.
There were several rounds of reorganization (firing European engineers), every time it was promised this is the last one. Until there remained very few (probably none by now). Everything the managements says is questionable. You can't trust anything they say anymore.
I am happy to have parted ways with them. Probably the best career decision, although a few years ago (pre British acquisition) I easily imagined that I would retire from Inspera.
