20 days annual leave each year.

Near minimum wage pay. No development (from a training provider??). No company bonus, working from home policy, or other benefits. No promotion opportunities. Corrupt management - years after I left, about 30 staff made a claim against the company directors. They reportedly didn't turn up for the court hearing. No regular reviews. I had one after 6 months, and then never again for years at the company. In-compassionate leadership. When I left, the company directors made jokes about how I didn't talk. As a graduate, it damaged my confidence and, working at the company, wasted some of the most important years of my career after university.

Colleagues were good to work with and my direct line manager was very supportive and genuinely wanted to help me improve and support me. The work you are doing is genuinely making a difference to people and helping to change or impact their lives in positive ways which feels very rewarding.

The salary is low compared to other companies operating in the same sector and there is no bonus structure in place for achieving targets which are often high and very difficult to meet. There is also a very odd policy in place which prevents staff from directly contacting any members of staff higher than their direct line manager (including HR), which creates problems if your line manager is out of the office for any reason. Communication from senior management is poor and the decision making processes take too long and often end with poor decisions as an outcome which are then changed at a later date. Suggestions for improvement and feedback are often ignored and there is the feeling of micromanagement to ensure you are complying with established policies. Try to avoid taking time of sick wherever possible as staff are only allowed three days of paid sick leave.
