Intek Communications Response
9yThank you for your review. It is unfortunate that you feel that way. Intek is very open and honest that the Field Service and Installation Technician position is not for everyone. The hours of work, the pay system, driving requirements, etc. are all outlined during the interview process, prior to employees being hired. Intek's competitors work the same hours, and pay employees based on the same model. That being said, Intek employs approximately 200 employees who work in this position and they are able to make an honest and lucrative living.
Intek's vehicles are monitored by GPS, for the safety of our employees as well as the public at large. The $5.00 per day charge is for employees who wish to keep the company vehicle at their place of residence. Employees have the option to park at one of Intek's offices, and the $5.00 fee is waived.
Furthermore, employee benefit premiums are paid partially by the employee, and partially by the company. In January of 2017 Intek made enhancements to its benefits program, based on employee surveys and feedback. Intek did not increase benefits costs for employees with these enhancements.
