Pros
Smart and supportive coworkers who will keep you sane.
Cons
Ironpaper specializes in "growth marketing" which means they look for quick fixes (low hanging fruit) and never spend the time to create a solid strategy that is scalable. This applies to both internal company growth as well as strategy for clients. Instead they rely on good employees to try and figure out how to solve problems that should really be handled by senior management. In a nutshell: -Leadership team is completely comfortable lying to employees and is much more concerned with outward appearances -No matter what marketing position you're hired for you'll be made a project manager -Ineffective leadership team that often provides conflicting feedback which leads to confusion and undue stress for employees -Production team that is not held to standards or reasonable deadlines -Lower than average compensation -Benefits include expensive health insurance with high deductibles, free dental, 401k without company matching and a pretax metrocard that the company will contribute half the cost
