      Pros

      Stable, seldom lay anyone off, work life balance, get rid of toxic managers fairly quickly, if you’re willing to move you can attain a management title quickly to parlay into a better paying job elsewhere.

      Cons

      Company is managed solely to maintain stock price. Raises are poor and the longer you work here, the farther your salary will fall behind market due to 2-3% annual raises and 9.9% cap on internal promotion raises. Company invests heavily into soon to be CEO’s baby, ICS/JB Hunt360, with virtually no ROI. Still no clear career path even though it’s been a leading complaint on internal surveys for years.

      Pros

      Competitive pay, local jobs available, steady work, decent pay for new drivers, growing company with many opportunities across the country. many veteran drivers and career management.

      Cons

      In cab facing cameras. Getting a steady role in the company can take time. No real upper management to communicate with if there is a problem.
