Pros
I have worked at JAM for over 10 years I can honestly say it is a fantastic place to work. It is a company with some of the very best recruiters in the country that is trusted by some of the biggest businesses in the UK. I am testament to the fact that hard work and loyalty are rewarded at JAM having started as a trainee with no experience progressing to the role of Director. There are lots of similar stories to mine at JAM from many other long-standing employees. Our CEO is a person who constantly invests in the business and makes sure we all have the best available technology in the industry to make our job as easy as possible meaning we can often find better candidates quicker than our competition. He is also very generous in rewarding success spending much more money than your average business on company holidays, events etc to reward us when we have done well. The company described in some of the negative reviews on this site is definitely not the one I work for. I can only surmise that these negative reviews are being written by a former disgruntled employee with some kind of vendetta against JAM. Recruitment is a hard job that many people do not succeed at. We have sometimes had to part company with underperforming members of staff which is a normal thing to happen in any recruitment company in the world. I think this particular website (Glassdoor) is one of the only ones where people can leave completely anonymous reviews without any traceability. I think this can positively encourage people to write negative reviews which they may not leave on other platforms.
