Pros

They let you work remotely.

Cons

Jamf’s management is inept, their compensation is abysmal. It is embarrassing to see that this place qualifies for a “Fortune’s best to work for” company. But hey, at least one manager’s manager built a plinko board on company time to try to entertain himself with 5 dollar raffles for the sales reps who were bringing in tens of thousands of dollars of new business for the company. If you want to get promoted based on job performance and success, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you can take a corporate porking with a grin while doing your best Kevin Bacon impression, “Thank you, sir. May I have another?” then you’ll do great. Middle management is so poor that their suggestions are typically counterproductive. I wish I were joking, but they have proven repetitively that most of them can’t even successfully read a chart or graph.

If you’re even a reasonably good employee who prioritizes tasks, and can effectively achieve your own goals, you’ll be so incredibly bored and disappointed when they pass you and all the other qualified people for a hamster that can run in the wheel. Jamf’s structure is like rowing a boat, where the managers are all sitting at the front telling each other how good of a job they’re doing, while half the employees have figured out they can do almost nothing. The other half is actually working, but the managers can’t see anything past their self-inflating congratulatory remarks to themselves. So the boat just spins in circles until the power rowers are paddling like baby ducklings.

If you haven no drive, no ambition, and no work ethic then you should apply. Because, with an attitude like that, you'll be in management in no time. Otherwise, avoid this place. It is the embodiment of a toxic culture disguised as “Minnesota nice.”

Pros

Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

Cons

The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.
