Pros

Great co-workers, room to advance, great benefits, tuition reimbursement. Sick time and vacation time is great. Women are given just as many opportunities for advancement as men.

Cons

Since going to centralization of service, etc the company has lost focus of what matters the most- the CUSTOMERS! The decision to centralize and and to go to a regional management structure has made both customers and employees at the local offices unhappy. The local office is no longer in control of helping the customers and customers are looking elsewhere to other companies because of this problem. They want to talk to someone local who knows them and knows their system. Also with the regional structure there is not one manager in the office over everyone. This has caused people to become lazy and come in late, etc because they are not held accountable. There needs to be a manager in charge of the whole office, not reporting to someone in a different city who does not know what you do.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
