Pros

Good solid company with respect for their workforce. Our core values include sustainability and JCI is acting (not just talking) in support of their core values. The fiscals are very good for an automotive company.

Cons

Becoming a bit top heavy as we expand globally. It probably is necessary, but there are more layers than ever before between the floor worker and the top dogs. A good portion of our business is also impacted by the downturn of the american automotive market. That is hurting many plants.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
