      Pros

      Large stable company. Profitable and financially well run.

      Cons

      Despite being a large company (130,000 employees) the company is split into 3 divisions with numerous sub-divisions. Collaboration and synergy between the sub-divisons is derisable. Very little integration of systems and processes so it can feel you are working for different companies. Senior management tend to be imported from the US - to do Europe - and focus on short-term cost cutting to boost profits rather than sustainable sales growth. The company is in the right space but is seriously underperforming despite the opportunities.

      Pros

      Excellent office culture...we have each other's back and everyone is there for each other on the quest to provide the best customer experience. We bring a, "whatever it takes" mentality to our workday. Best part of our job is our work family.

      Cons

      High pressure industry that must be managed daily. We save lives! That brings a heavy responsibility to what we do and means we must remain focused at all times.

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
