Pros

Nice offices in Leatherhead campus. They have done more to improve female representation, albeit hiring mainly white females which is extending the white - BAME group representation gap.

Cons

I would've selected an option below a 1-star rating but unfortunately the rating I can give is a 1-star. Here's why: I worked in their Government Solutions business. Dominated by ex-military people who are given 1st class status with better pay and working conditions and who were more respected by senior management than everyone else. There is a bullying and systematic racism culture within the business. I got rudely spoken to by line manager once, who refused to apologise for their rude remarks. When I threatened to report this to HR, I got punished with a fabricated performance review and a colleague of mine who was less experienced than me got promoted because of their close pubbing and golfing relationship with the line manager. My line manger then got rid of me in the first opportunity he had, which was through redundancy. I also had to listen to inappropriate racist and sexist remarks by some members of the teams that I had to work with. In 2020, a lot of people were made redundant at very short notice. Many of these people were veterans with 15+ years experience working at KBR. The senior management teams were not honest about why these redundancies took place and cited cost-cutting as the reason, but yet KBR continued to hire hundreds of graduates (so much for cost-cutting!). Its very white-dominated. Poor diversity & inclusion initiatives, which only exists on paper. Promotions and career opportunities depends on who you know and who you go drinking and golfing with.

Pros

Flex time within a pay month, flexible schedules, an outstanding benefits package including a 401k retirement plans with 100% match on 6% of pretax and Roth contribution elections, several investment options, personalized financial planning through fidelity, employee stock purchase program, student debt retirement savings match program, and HSA options; several health insurance options with a wide range of monthly premiums and available benefits, FSA, HSA, vision, dental (Delta Dental), tuition assistance, PTO, holidays, and much more.

Cons

No automatic/across the board annual cost of living pay adjustments, only 5.3 hours total of PTO (with milestone increases for incumbents) each pay period (no separate sick, personal, annual, vacation, etc.), only 9 paid holidays with one floating holiday, no official employee evaluations or measured expectations, many employment pros and cons are dependent on supervisor on the contract - not corporate.

Pros

Excellent Work Life Balance, Good Salary and Benefits.

Cons

No incentives to succeed. Very few rewards, awards, and bonuses. Culture is not customer or team focused; Upper management do not respond to functional area issues and would rather unfairly correct behavior of complainers. Way too much focus on wokeness with controlled behavior and silly Zero Harm program.
