Pros
Great colleagues - knowledgeable, kind and hard-working. Fast pace, which in the beginning allowed innovation (not so much in past few months). Amazing customers who are enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with.
Cons
I could sum up the cons in one word: Management. Initially, things were good and management worked collaboratively, however, as the company grew, there grew a tense atmosphere with the management openly belittling employees, pushing many people to leave the business. Management behaviour is usually arrogant and immature and they have a limited understanding of the complex subject matter they are working in. Employees are not listened to, communication is stifled and people are forced to silo. There is no progression and little appreciation for talent unless it comes with a HBS badge. The sales approach is worrying, with products sold to customers that are yet to be designed or built. Buzzwords and new releases are prioritised over quality. No dev-time is permitted for fixes or improvements so the CS team do the calculations and patch the data. They market themselves as highly professional and elite, but they're just not. The team are a fantastic group of people, but key is no place to make a career.
