Pros

Teachers are amazing and they love kids.

Cons

I had an extremely disappointing experience as the Director at Kiddie Academy of Hanover, and I strongly discourage anyone from working at or enrolling their child in this center. When I was hired, I was not informed that the school had recently faced serious non-compliance and safety concerns, leading to the closure of three classrooms. It quickly became apparent that I was brought in primarily because of my expertise in licensing, but I was not given the transparency or autonomy necessary to make meaningful improvements. The owner's management style was unprofessional and micromanaging--she frequently read my emails, took my business cards without my knowledge, and required me to contact parents regarding tuition without verifying her own accounting records, often resulting in confusion and frustration for families. The staff morale is incredibly low, as it is clear the owner does not prioritize their well-being or the needs of the children. She frequently required staff to work overtime, only to send them home right before the pay period ended, avoiding proper compensation. Additionally, she enforces a 30-day resignation policy, yet forces employees to leave weeks before their notice period ends. As a dedicated early childhood professional, I take the care and education of young children very seriously, and I was deeply disheartened by the lack of integrity, respect, and professionalism at this center. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this location to any educator or family seeking quality care.

Pros

Corporate company pushes franchisees to follow their standards

Cons

Owners don't always care to told up the standard and will lie and expect employees to lie as well. If they don't lie, they get pushed out. Even letting regional managers know they will try to turn a blind eye.
