Pros
Generally, it's a pretty good environment to work (for administrative staff, I can't speak to hourly production or hospitality jobs). Decent benefits. Very low copay on prescription drugs through mail order. Company shutdown around the Christmas-New Years holidays is nice.
Cons
Kohler has a tendency that if a higher position opens up, they will give a potential internal candidate for the position all of the work of the higher position but not the title or raise, as if testing you. Basically, they will give you the responsibility of a higher job but under-compensate your efforts and experience until they deem you worthy. The company struggles with being able to build and ship product, to the point that large customers are taking their business for kitchen and bath products elsewhere. Watch out as the fall progresses--there may be some drastic changes lurking.
