Pros
Not much these days. Many years ago it was a fantastic environment where younger staff thrived learning from seniors, since the restructure everyone is out for themselves.
Cons
Loyalty means nothing to current management. Very unfortunate to see KPF heading down hill very fast especially after working at KPF for a number of years! The high number of staff walking out the door says it all. There is no structure at all. One day they are getting rid of people on fixed term contracts and the next they are making staff permanent. Intermediate architects are being shoved out the door to make room for the next set of juniors who in turn are replaced by the next batch of cheap labour straight out of uni. As soon as you reach a certain level/ salary they don't want you anymore which is disgusting. This is reflected very highly in the quality of drawings produced. There are no decent intermediates left to apply quality control to junior architects work. Time to make a move!
