Pros

Friendly work culture and fun socials

Cons

Compensation is very low across the board Benefits are sub-par PTO includes sick days, vacation and Christmas shut-down. 20 days will realistically become less than 15 unless you never take a sick day Work can be incredibly boring Vague policies surrounding hybrid in-office/WFH, seems like there will be mandatory minimums Huge frat culture, it feels like college/high school all over again. It can get really toxic Pressure to attend socials leads you to have FOMO. Heaven forbid you have a life after work

Pros

Hours as an intern were good - 9am to 5:30pm Good worklife balance From my external perception, hours also seemed good for full-time employees - much lighter than regular consulting Overall, people were fairly nice - not overly warm (still very corporate), but generally kind and helpful I would say my time here was beneficial to my career trajectory, but not game-changing Good to get broad experiences with tech in different industries; exposure to applications of technology & helping medium to large-sized companies Overall I would rate my time here as average/decent/good

Cons

Pay is low for associate consultants, especially for NYC
