Pros
- decent pay - holidays off - 401k - insurance
Cons
- Management makes terrible decisions and blames lower employees for the issues when they inevitably arise, to the point of gaslighting you saying you just "weren't the right fit" - Clients are actual bullies - Claims to "listen to employees" but only gives placative lip service instead of actually listening or addressing the issues - From creative, design management wants work horses to echo their vision and will not accept anything else or even give something new a chance. CD and ACD will redo projects secretly then will present them without telling the actual designer. Nothing is good enough except what they and they alone make. - literally everyone is overworked - aims for the "fun ad agency" culture which just amounts to potlucks and afternoon drinks on Thursdays - Everyone only gets three days out of the year to work from home but some employees get special treatment when they move out of town and can perpetually WFH. How is that fair?
