I had an appallingly bad experience with Kyriba’s recruitment process, and I feel compelled to share it. I was scheduled for an interview and had dedicated time and effort to prepare for it. Then, just ONE hour before the scheduled meeting, I received a cancellation with a brief, dismissive note stating, “The position has been filled.” No email. No phone call. No apology. Just a cold calendar update, as if my time and effort were utterly meaningless.

Cons

This behavior is nothing short of disgraceful. It demonstrates a shocking lack of respect for candidates and raises serious red flags about the company’s professionalism and internal culture. If this is how Kyriba treats people at the very first stage of engagement, what does it say about how employees are treated on a daily basis? Such blatant disregard for basic decency is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Kyriba’s employer brand. In an era where companies compete fiercely for talent, this kind of unprofessional behavior is not just a mistake—it’s self-sabotage. Word spreads quickly, and candidates are unlikely to forget being treated like this.
