Pros

I have been working for LG Electrnoics for more than 3 years. - You can learn alot about how the company generate profit if you are willing to gain the knowledge. - Challege is at all time fate that you have to accept and out of this you will gain skills to overcome the daily challeges. - Target is definate that company knows where to go ahead (Sometimes without target being setup it is very difficult to understand what you are going to work for)

Cons

- Salary is below the market average - Due to limited emplyees you are stretched in terms of workloads you have to bear on a daily basis - You have no authority to decide since the business decisions are decided by Korean Product Managers - There is unclear future for your career path to build within the company at a certain level - Work and life balance is hard to be achieved in this company

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
