Pros

Work load was solid and even, not too heavy and not too light. Not a bad location if you live in Dallas. Nice suite (better than some IT shops). Company does have an established client base. You have to be able to learn new skills and you will learn new skills. Some pretty interesting and cool coworkers.

Cons

Ladies this is a mans workplace, and trust me we made that clear, so avoid any job at this company. While I was employed here I saw at least 4-5 female employees hired and mysteriously fired and that was in less than a year. I was one of maybe two or three guys who didn’t see the female employees as conquests, etc. The atmosphere is not bad but be prepared for a heavy amount of sexually inappropriate jokes, racial jokes, religious jokes and generally just degrading behavior from management staff all the way to the top. Regardless of gender if you are not okay with this behavior you could (not a guarantee) be discriminated against.

Pros

The people are amazing who work here. This is a laid back environment that is fun to show up to everyday. A lot of different people and personalities at LG Networks which keeps you on your toes. The owner buys us lunch at least 2 times a week if not more. We celebrate birthdays with cake! We have retro arcade machines and poker table to have fun on. All the coffee, red bull, coke zero you could ever want!

Cons

The environment is fast paced and changes rapidly. In IT people call when they have a problem.

Pros

I have been thinking hard about the pros, but haven't been able to recall any of those.

Cons

As an engineer, I would always ask the CEO for guidance. But it appears that his incompetence trickles down, creating a stressful and unpredictable environment. He asked the supervisor in a completely rude and dismissive manner to reverse a major project decision that my team had been working on for months, effectively rendering all our effort pointless. We also witnessed the CEO making a sexual and inappropriate comment to a young female employee during a company social event. So insane. The CEO expects us to worship him despite his terrible actions. This workplace is unsafe!
