Pros
The kids are wonderful and the work you do is very rewarding, the key staff members are knowledgeable and help support you in what you need, the org as a whole has wonderful values
Cons
Sporadic scheduling (sometimes even last minute), not valued or acknowledged as an employee, hard to talk to other coworkers and no team meetings so it feels very individualistic, some favoritism involved, no benefits/perks, not enough hours for a part-time, high employee turnover, any time that isn't instruction is practically just min wage, no professional development
