Cons
With great reward, comes great responsibility. If you don't want to work hard, take the leads, and write clean closeable loans, then this is not the place for you. You need to have experience in taking quality applications, qualifying properly, following up with borrowers, fixing loans, and getting them funded on time, every time. There is no hand holding. You will be fired quickly if you aren't taking advantage of the opportunity and/or taking care of your borrowers. Hard to sift through all of the lower quality leads to get to the borrowers you can help. 100% commission with recoverable draw. This is only a con if you aren't a professional loan officer.
