Pros

+ executives striving to refocus Lattice on programmable ASSPs but lack the ability to pull in the talent and capital required to pull it off + subsidized public transportation, employees can nominate each other for $25 to $100 gift cards, 1 personal day-off + 2 volunteer days, taxable giveaways

Cons

- executive cronyism and 3rd place in a stagnant industry helps ensure mediocrity against a line-up of tough, battle-hardened, savvy competitors - no growth means no merit increases, no promotions, no 401k matching, no career growth, no talent, no sustained competitive advantage - outdated and uninspired tools, methods, practices, and ideas

Lattice Semiconductor Response

We appreciate you sharing your experience. Transparency is a key element of our culture and we promote like thinking. It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying several of our workplace perks such as subsidized transportation and rewards. While we re-engineered our 401k program, we are excited to announce that we have brought back 401k match as part of our total compensation program and continue to offer stock equity, merit increases and promotions as part of performance management. We pay competitive rates and strive to create an environment where team members are recognized and rewarded for their performance. Lattice has been making deliberate investments to improve our processes, tools and procedures and constantly are looking at ways to be innovative.

Pros

Good team, at least at our local level and others in our team at other sites, we worked well together and got things done.

Cons

Management change-overs. In my time there, my direct supervisor had changed 6 or 7 times, position above that 2 or 3, CIO changed 3 times, and CEO changed 3 times. My entire chain of command from just above me to CEO, had changed multiple times since I started. This contributed to lack of focus on our team, and lack of any kind of career progress for me.
