Pros

Not so much a pro - but the toxicity of the environment in the office forces you to make close connections with your colleagues just to get by and keep some mental stability.

Cons

I was privy to many high level conversations among the executive team at my time here and the strongest con was the level of sexism I witnessed. Many conversations took place about the women in the business and these conversations were straight out of 1952. There were also daily inappropriate conversations from the execs about work ethic, sickness, competitors, clients, etc. Upon exit from most staff, the execs will blame any issues that are then experienced on the staff that departed. “We’ve had some bad employees and toxic people leave the business and they were the cause of our grievances” was a daily conversation. I witnessed staff being yelled at frequently by the CEO. I witnessed staff being fired for expressing the smallest of opinion.

Pros

Good place to work overall. The past year has brought a lot of positive change, and with some underperforming staff leaving, the office is now a much nicer environment day to day. There’s a clear expectation to do your job properly , if your work isn’t finished, you’re expected to take ownership and complete it. Support from the Ops Director and HR is strong. I don’t agree with comments about low pay. You might start lower, but pay increases are given regularly based on performance without needing to ask.

Cons

Standard day to day gossip within teams and people
