Great work life balance, low stress, supportive staff. Small hospital so ability to cross train to different procedural areas if interested
Cons
No real cons here. Recent expansion to unit so staff can be spread thin at times, but charge RN is cognizant of this and lot of ancillary staff are available to cover when needed.
IT staff now finally have the option of working fully remote. Benefits are fine. Workload is not generally overwhelming. On call is handled by a specific team for the most part.
Cons
No options to work part time. Leadership often does not have the best interests of staff at heart. Managers typically are good budgetary managers but hesitate to manage staff. Training must continually be fought for, except for every few years when we get trained in customer service. No organized on boarding in most areas. Staff are left to mostly fend for themselves.
