Pros
Great legacy as an iconic American brand Many transfer opportunities within company and across retail types (mainline, outlet, etc.) Can be a very fun workplace if store management is competent and fair
Cons
Too many budget/generic offshoots of the brand, basically the store-level employees are competing with themselves. Nobody wants to pay $45 for a pair of jeans that they can get at Wal-Mart or Target for $20. They don't care about the differences; if the tag says "Levi's" then they're happy to spend half the money. It's nonsense. Transfers are not paid for by the company and district lines are redrawn too often and create areas that make little sense from regional standpoint.
