Pros

Passion for photography, interacting with clients, learning studio lighting techniques, friendly workers, honestly can’t think of anything else. It was awful.

Cons

Life touch underplays their employees and makes them work up to 18 hour days. I worked with this company for a week and couldn’t take it. As a seasoned photographer, I found this job treated me as a beginner. Everything has to be done like a cookie cutter portrait, no room for creativity. The most shocking thing was traveling an hour and a half to a school for portrait day, not getting a break in 12 hours, and being expected to then work 4 more hours without a lunch or dinner break; driving home another almost 2 hours. Life touch is a horrible company to work for. I highly recommend you do not waste your time, talent, and energy being underpayed and taken advantage of

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
