Pros

Working with kids, taking photos. Learning portrait photography. Everyday is different. Producing smiles and create memories. The kids saved this job honestly.

Cons

Over worked and underpaid, serious wear and tear on your car and body. Outdated system. Tons off off the clock work. Understaffed. Weekend emails, late night emails and calls. You will put in more work than you are paid for. No upward progression in the company. If you are looking for a full time work load on part time pay and you have literally nothing else going on in your life but time to dedicate to Lifetouch this job is for you. If you’re in school this job is not for you. They will literally have you not about to graduate to accommodate someone else’s absence. Students just wait, unless you take online classes. Be ready for directors with nasty attitudes that shouldn’t even be around children and be ready to take responsibility for things that you had no control over.

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
