- Upper management is completely out of touch, or so it seems
- Expect to be paid less than market average by at least 10-15K, and expect the goal post to constantly be moved despite sales slowing down and churn constantly increasing
- Managers/Team Leads often have their hands tied by upper management and catch a lot of flack for decisions that they have little to no say in
- Decisions are made from the top that often negatively impact the customer experience - these decisions do not take into consideration the opinions of those who actually deal with customers, resulting in livid customers who have no one to take it out on other than their sales rep
- Company likes to engage in some shady (albeit legal) practices to coerce customers into using their services, and the reps have to deal with the consequences of this
- Opportunities for professional growth have become few and far between
- For sales in particular, you're very often told that if you aren't meeting your target then it's simply because you aren't coming in early enough or staying late enough, or because you're not trying hard enough (which neglects taking into account that the product being offered does not compete well in the market, and customers are leaving in droves)
- Decisions do not seem to be thought out and are often half baked, and the logic or reasoning behind decisions is almost never effectively communicated to the employees that these decisions will impact
- The company will always ask for feedback and promise it is valued, however it seldom seems as though feedback results in effective or meaningful change
