Pros

The position and pay were appropriate, and the work was interesting. I learned a lot. My coworkers were positive for the most part and I enjoyed working alongside them.

Cons

The work atmosphere involved somewhat of a trepidation of the higher ups and managers. The founder/managing director was often degrading or belittling in my interactions with him, especially in public and even with clients. This was often done in the guise of joking or sarcasm, but occurred frequently over my time working there. Even though I did not have a "high" position, this behavior and treatment showed little value toward my work and my role in the various projects I was part of.

Pros

Not everyone gets to be involved in a job or a company that is making a difference in our country or in our world, for that matter. Here at Lincoln, we get to work on projects that help shape policies, promote candidates and help advance public awareness on many different levels. It is exciting to be a tiny blip of a part of the whole process. We have a very "open door" atmosphere that allows for creative thinking and the ability to tap into everyone's strengths!

Cons

If there was a con, we like to say if you don't like change this isn't the place for you...no two projects are alike and no two clients are alike, so you can't just rely on repeating the same procedures over and over again. However, we draw on each past project and tweak each one to meet the new and individual needs for a new project...this could be frustrating to some individuals who like to have security in repeating the same processes over and over.
