Pros

They respond very fast with the results of your test. They give you links to free programs. Other than that there is nothing good about this company that I can think of. Worse experience for a AT HOME JOB. CRAZY!!!!

Cons

If you don't pass you don't know your score. The pre-exam area is the same as the test. Look and all. The pay. Not paid for studying or maybe they call it self training. Not worth the time for what you don't get. 1099 and if have to give them statements if ask of payment on your taxes. Crazy!!! I will not be applying to this company ever again. BEWARE TEST TIME IS SUPER LONG. 33 questions with 5 answers per question. Crazy. So that's 165 questions you will have to answer. The test was worse than a college exam. CRAZY😡 I don't understand why you have to study 146 pages and then take a three part test if you already have qualifications for the position. If you don't pass part 1 you don't move on to part two or three. For what they are paying for the position you shouldn't have to do all what they want you to do especially if they are going to train you. You don't get paid to review or study the material. You don't know what your score is after you take the test. It is a pass fail. The questions on the test will confuse you. I think for this to be a work at home job they take you through more than a 9-5 job.

If your current position is not working out for you there may be opportunities to join a different team and expand your skill set. Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling options and remote work opportunities allow for a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Recognition and Rewards: Employees are regularly acknowledged for their hard work and achievements, both through formal recognition programs and informal appreciation. Even if it is just a call out on a team meeting, it shows your hard work is not going unnoticed.

Cons

Rapid Changes: The company's dynamic nature means frequent shifts in priorities or objectives, which may be challenging for those who prefer stability. Resource Constraints: Occasionally, there might be limited resources which can impact the ability to execute projects efficiently. Communication Gaps: In a large organization, there can be occasional breakdowns in communication between departments, leading to misunderstandings or delays. Pros

It has been very cool seeing the company evolve with the new AI and LLM Technologies. Going from a complex language services company to an AI-first complete content and AI Data Services company has opened many new doors. Lionbridge also focuses on promoting internal candidates first, giving us all the chance to strive for openings internally to grow our careers. I've been promoted multiple times in my 5+ years. We're surrounded by very intelligent and good people, and it's interesting solving new-world problems together as a global team. We're constantly working with team members and customers from all over the world, and get the chance to learn about the various personal and business cultures of so many.

Cons

No real Cons. It's not an easy industry to be in these days with things changing at this rapid a pace, but we keep up well. Never a dull moment, and never a new challenge around each corner, but a great team to always work it out with.
