Pros
If you work in aerospace Technical Authoring, then you have a good opportunity to learn about aviation (but the starting wage for a graduate is £10,000 below the industry standard, with NO payrise, so graduates don't stay for very long....in fact, nobody does).
Cons
HR have a policy of recruiting graduates with lower grades because they know they can get away with paying them a pittance. Anyone with a higher grade is turned away because the rampant paranoia in the HR department leads them to believe that ANYONE with a good degree will automatically leave them to work for Rolls-Royce (this is nonsense: most staff are leaving to work at Bombardier). Some people have been working here for 3 years without a payrise. As we say around here, "the wage that you start on with Lionbridge is the wage that you will finish on".
