Pros

Lockton has the community's respect. The flip side is that when you are interviewing for your next job, no one understands why you left, and you cannot really say why you did not like your job. Lockton is extremely sensitive to their clients' needs, and they provide top-level service. It's great to be able to do the best for your client. They offer competitive salaries, and further compensate their employees with bonuses, and more.

Cons

There were some glaring cons that overshadowed the significant pros. Overall, their management team lacks training and skills. They know their industry very well, but they do not know how to manage or motivate their employees, except by fear or money. There is not a sense of being a team member because one is more concerned with staying out of the politics and keeping their job.

Pros

A true “team effort” environment. I think it really depends on who your team lead is and the dynamic of the group you work with. You will get a ton of experience fine tuning skills as they provide constant trainings and resources to learn. Decent pay when compared to competitor companies and great 401k plan. Plenty of company and marketing events. Hybrid work is great. Again to preface, who you work with can make or break the atmosphere, but everyone I’ve met has been extremely nice and willing to help. Opportunities to grow within the company.

Cons

Health benefits could be better. Company is really pushing new business and there can be a lot of work and last minute fires to put out that can feel daunting. There have been quite a few times I’ve worked late into the night to get things wrapped up. You need to self organize or things can easily fall through the cracks very quickly. A lot of meetings that can take up a majority of your day - leaving less time to get actual work done.

Pros

Occasional half days on Fridays in the summer Work-life balance Exceptional team mates

Cons

Started making a big push for RTO as of 2026, previously awesome remote work. Once you're out, you're OUT. You will be immediately removed from all accounts. You will be escorted out by security even if you were simply let go. No grace period on health insurance etc, it's done. As a creative, you're not allowed to use anything you created for your portfolio, so keep that in mind.
