Pros

As a former employee, I was always inspired by Logikcull's mission to help democratize discovery and the technology they provide to law firms. That's why I was a bit disappointed to read the below reviews because they seem manipulative, fake, and written by one person within 1-2 days. Come on, you can do better. Listen, I still believe Logikcull is solving a real problem, they're funded by great VC firms, and provide a great career opportunity. There are a lot of great people at Logikcull and you should take time to get to know them in the interview process.

Cons

There have been a number of leadership changes and turnover that seems to be systemic. I'd recommend you speak with the employees during the interview process and then also go search LinkedIn for all of the former employees. I am not saying someone should not take the job, however I'd recommend doing more research on the company because these Glassdoor reviews below seem odd.

Hey, Andy here. Thanks for sharing your feedback. There’s a lot to unpack here: 1 - Re: Our mission. Our mission to democratize discovery is indeed a genuine one and I’m happy that it attracted you to Logikcull in the first place. Read our customer reviews here: https://www.capterra.com/p/142312/Logikcull/#reviews 2 - Re: Valid reviews. You mention the employee Glassdoor reviews as being “manipulative and fake”, but you also mention Logikcull being a great career opportunity and that there are a lot of great people at Logikcull. I have no way of knowing since these reviews are anonymous, but I assume that the same great people you mention are the ones writing these positive reviews. 3 - Re: leadership changes. This year we’ve been fortunate enough to bring on LauraLee Guerrero as our first VP of People & Places, Michelle Price as our first VP of Design, and Patrick Barry as our first COO. There have been no other leadership changes. 4 - Re: Turnover. Being a fast-growing tech company we’re not immune to turnover. The technology sector has the highest turnover at 13.2%. See data here: https://business.linkedin.com/talent-solutions/blog/trends-and-research/2018/the-3-industries-with-the-highest-turnover-rates As of Q218 our turnover is actually under the tech sector industry standard at 8%. That said, we can, and will, do better. We have close to a dozen employees that have been with Logikcull for over 5 years, and 5 of them have been here for 10+ years. We’re building a company that will last. So we hope to see more people celebrate 5, 10, 15, and 20+ year anniversaries. 5 - Re: Speaking with employees. We know that when candidates are interested in a role at Logikcull they are interviewing us as much as we are interviewing them. We provide employees with multiple rounds of interviews including both technical and cultural questions, with employees across departments, and we leave room for candidates to be able to ask any questions they have of us. We also encourage candidates to find our staff on LinkedIn to prepare for their interviews. We agree that employees should do their research! 6 - Re: Press coverage and the CEO spotlight. We do our best to highlight our amazing employees whenever we can. At all hands events. On the blog. And in interviews. Meet our new VP of Design, Michelle Price: https://blog.logikcull.com/buildingtheloop/logikculls-michelle-price-on-customer-first-design Whew! That was a lot to unpack. Glassdoor is great, but it’s important to hear both sides of these reviews so that, in your words, people can do their homework. Otherwise it’s just hearsay. I hope this was helpful to whomever happens to read these replies! Andy, CEO

Pros

I've had a wonderful experience at Logikcull so far. The product is very cool and super value add to a wide swath of businesses who need to make their legal processes work more efficiently. Everyone is super bright and also very kind and helpful. I'm impressed at the level of sophistication of processes given the size and stage of the business.

Cons

Not a ton I can note. Typical chaos of a growing start up which is also what makes it fun. I'm the type of person who misses being in an office so I wouldn't mind some sort of limited employee fund for co-working, but it's not a huge issue.

Pros

People - People, People, and the People. It is an amazing culture and family-like atmosphere. Challenge - Logikcull is doing some amazing things and with that come challenges for all aspects of the company. If you like solving big problems, this is the place for you. Core Values - Logikcull's founders have developed some amazing core values that should make anyone get pumped up to come and join the team. You can find those on the website. Random - From the employee incentives like healthcare being paid for, to the random acts of an employee calling out another going above and beyond, it is a very warm and inviting place to work, feel empowered, and motivated to take on the world.

Cons

Speed - Logikcull is in a high growth period in a changing industry. Thus, adaptation has to occur and that is not for everyone. If you can roll with it, you will love it. Balance - While not a true con, if you find yourself unable to shut it down and stop solving the big problems, you could work more than you originally thought. If you really enjoy who you work with and what you are doing, it is not so much an issue. Location - Not everyone is in one office, though a good portion of folks are in San Francisco. Logikcull also has a wonderful remote structure that is very welcoming and easy to fit into.

WOW! Thank you! I really liked the way you structured the pros/cons. "And motivated to take on the world" is now easily one of my all time favorite Logikbot quotes. Thanks again!
