Cons
They offer pizza instead of competitive wages and growth opportunity, and it comes with a side of sexism and misogyny. I was several years in the position, and was personally responsible for dramatic YoY revenue increases and had been promised a raise if I met metrics. When review time came around, boss was unwilling to correct my pathetically poor pay, saying the company couldn't afford it, despite meeting goals and despite the money I had brought in. I left and they brought in an inexperienced guy for the salary I'd been asking for, and reduced responsibility. (I heard from old coworkers they had to take on portions of my role because the guy didn't know how to do them.) I guess they could afford to pay more if you have an XY chromosome. On my way out, I left a detailed account of all the inappropriate things boss had said over the years (including sexist accounts of hookups) and about a week after I left I received a threatening package in the mail, sent anonymously. (Hmmm I wonder who could have sent it.)
