Pros

1. Well-stocked break room 2. Interesting technologies 3. Seem to be doing well + hired better battery manager (Celina) by time of writing (2025) 4. Purchasing is a breeze - Araceli is a godsend 5. Some highly talented and kind technical folks 6. Pay is decent to good

Cons

1. Supplies and equipment go missing (even if plugged in!) if there are no cameras around. 2. Bad managers get shuffled around the organization rather than let go. They might hire better people, but problematic individuals hardly ever disappear even after HR complaints - this goes all the way to the top. 3. Career development for non-managers is a joke. If you're anywhere near entry-level, you risk career damage. 4. Many projects are stairways to nowhere, but you'll definitely be hounded about them. 5. Priorities and job responsibilities are vague and ever-shifting. 6. Managers at all levels are happy to throw you under the bus. 7. CEO has 0 leadership ability, but papers over that by bringing in government money. Maybe a pro and a con. 8. Long/odd hours are typical on the battery team. 9. Vicious internal politics

Thank you for taking time to share your experience and for highlighting the strengths of our culture, cross-training opportunities, and the team's willingness to support one another. We also recognize that being part of a fast-paced startup often means frequent pivots and new challenges. While this can be demanding, we're continually working on finding the right balance to ensure growth opportunities are paired with support and clarity. Your feedback helps us improve that balance.

Pros

Good for short term job

Cons

Very bad and no future, all managers and supervisors may get layoffs any time without warning because they hired all uneducated managers so employees had no chance to stay long at Lyten.
