At MITRE, we strive to have an employee awards and recognition program that acknowledges teams and individuals who are pushing themselves into new territory to deliver on our mission of solving problems for a safer world. With several different award types available for use, we demonstrate, in a tangible way, our appreciation for the commitment, effort and special accomplishments of our talented workforce. Each year we give out thousands of internal awards, and in addition, our company and staff are recognized externally with awards that highlight their impact – including from leading industry publications such as CIO.com, Cyber Defense Magazine, Enterprise Security Technology, and Military+Aerospace Electronics. In addition, in 2023, more than 70% of MITRE’s external awards highlighted our commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity with recognition for being a DEI Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion winner, and NACD DE&I winner, and a Military Times: Best for Vets Employer recipient.
