Leadership in Corporate Functions/Operations control testing is unqualified (at best). I’ve never worked beneath individuals at a “VP” level that did not know the basics of how to use Microsoft Excel. Cross-department collaboration is non-existent. Director level leadership promotes an ‘us vs them’ approach instead of attempting to get to the root of issues. Weekly “Office Hours” meetings often featured argumentative/hostile interactions amongst attendees. Promotions seem to be based on who you know rather than experience/skill.
