Since acquisition by Inflexion the company has been deteriorating rapidly in all aspects. Previous leadership had a vision how to develop the company, retain talent and grow the business despite challenging climate. They had been instrumental in doubling the revenue in 3 years prior to acquisition by private equity. After purchase Inflexion swiftly proceeded to purge the old guard and brought in their own people who have absolutely no idea how to manage an ISV business in OSS space. They executed relentless cost reduction programme, expanded finance team beyond recognition while reducing headcount in crucial areas such as product, support, customer service and delivery. There has been a massive exodus of people over past year, people have been disappointed and disillusioned, no one believes that under current management the company can thrive again. String of business mistakes and bad decisions continues and results in loss of long-standing customers and sharp decline in revenue. My advice is to avoid this place until it's sold again to a more competent growth capital firm (which understand this industry) like Thoma Bravo or Apex Partners.
