Pros
(1) It's a small company so you're in the driver's seat, not on the sidelines watching the action. You are exposed to a plethora of projects from different clients, and you get to design for different industries and consumer segments. (2) Flexible work hours and very cool boss. For example, if you're working on a project late at night for a rush client deadline, you can sleep in the following morning and start later. (3) Winnie, the Malemute-Husky š mix graces you with her presence every now and then. Oh, and shortbread cookies. Lots of them. (4) Office is located in a cool, retro 80s building and the inside is gorgeous. If you're at an impasse for design inspo, simply gaze out the window and watch cute Chad walking his fluffy English cocker spaniel as they head to Venice beach and I promise you your design juices will start flowing š
Cons
Sometimes you don't get to see the full cycle of a ux project after we've finished the design and it is passed off to the developer. But such is life at a design agency. Cross your fingers and hope the dev agency executes your vision correctly!
