Pros
Work is interesting and people are all smart/ willing to help. People are friendly and tend to be welcoming. There are lots of social events. work/life balance is good. High quality work is recognized and quickly can result in promotions/ bonuses/ etc. On the flip side of that, high visibility and a lean organization leaves little space for people who do not pull their weight/ contribute to the firm People working here are driven and often passionate about different aspects of the work we do, bringing unique perspectives and helping spread knowledge across the firm. It is a great place to learn a variety of technical and soft skills that are useful in the general consulting world as well as the analytics side of things. As a general note to Glassdoor, Tim Furey is not the CEO (or any role) of MB.
Cons
Some projects end up being more time intensive than others depending on the client, etc. There are a handful of longer term projects which can get tedious after a long time, but management tends to hear those concerns when voiced and tries to shift staffing around in those circumstances. Pay can be somewhat under the market for equivalent roles in the consulting field at larger firms.
