Pros

I thrive in an environment that challenges me to always bring my best, and this company does just that! It’s a place where you’re constantly pushed to bring your A game, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally. The high expectations might be intense, but they’ve truly helped me reach new heights. Plus you get to work with a group of amazing people!

Cons

Does MaxContact sometimes struggle with the usual challenges…? Communication, finding the right balance, taking opinions on board, of course but no more and probably much less than anywhere else I have worked! The need to push and challenge yourself to keep up can sometimes feel overwhelming and lead to burnout so we all need to look after our wellbeing and the company does support that. Finding a work-life balance might be a challenge for some people, I know it is always a challenge for me but nobody expects anything out of the ordinary, only you. On top of this, with everyone wanting to do their best it can at times lead to conflict, but the good kind, face it head on. So work here if you enjoy the challenge, the camaraderie, the social life but only if you want to be challenged in your role and give it your all.

Pros

The biggest pros of this job were my team who were absolutely lovely and who I had a great relationship with. The support team is really genuine and will always lend a helping hand if anyone needs it. I also gained a lot of experience and new knowledge and skills here. The customers are also nice and while inpatient customers are common, downright rude or disrespectful interactions with customers are rare here.

Cons

Management is awful. They don't listen to the "lower down" employees and treat you like a nuisance and inconvenience for raising valid issues. If you're someone who speaks up for yourself definitely don't work here because your concerns will fall on deaf ears. There is also somewhat of a fear culture here i.e. everyone is happy to complain to each other but if anyone raises issues in a formal setting then it's total silence and nobody will back you up. The pay is also abysmal, minimum wage for a B2B SaaS support job is quite frankly humiliating and disrespectful. The support team here is the scapegoat for all the company's other issues and are treated like crap even though there wouldn't even be a company to make money or pay anyone's wages without support.

Pros

Great support with a lot of product knowledge, and the teams are always happy to help. Remote working (2 days in the office) and events each month when in the office to encourage socialising. Great location just off Deansgate in Manchester. Some nice perks like life insurance, free coffee vouchers and a great gym on-site. Great opportunity to work with AI products.

Cons

Workloads can fluctuate and can become high at times. There are new products being introduced, and processes can sometimes be unclear until teams become more familiar with them.
