Pros
Company was better off under Ericsson, but I guess Ericsson wanted to get rid of a money-losing business with a shrinking TAM.
Cons
Senior management is clueless about running a spin-off that should be run like a startup. The policies and practices are transplanted from Ericsson, and while these policies may work for a $multi-billion established company with very limited competition, they're a bane for companies that want to be agile and competitive. Morale is very poor, as most competent employees recognize how clueless and un-empathetic exec management is. The CEO thinks he is Caesar, and his modus operandi is 'my way or the highway'.....and of course his way is only leading the company to ruin.
